Warn When Speeding
Speed Camera Warning (it says the function might not be allowed in your country, and to turn it on anyway if you want / if you are allowed)
Warn if too fast for a Pedestrian (incase you have it in Pedestrian mode by accident, so it does not tell you to drive up a foot path I guess)
Safety mode (cannot operate touch screen while car is going to fast - remember, you can turn this off if wanted)
Be in control, with sooooo many options!!!
Route Planning Options (can toggle on or off, as desired):
Unpaved Roads

3D Mode & 2D Mode
MAP SCREEN SETTINGS:
  3D visual Settings:
    Landmarks on/off
    Elevated Roads on/off (see shadow on the map so you know it is an overhead bridge, tunnel or whatever)
    Building Visibility Setting (Far Ahead/Medium/Close/Off – it is best to be off I guess that it would be a distraction to have the buildings showing unless it is some landmark like Centrepoint Tower)
    Terrain Detail Level (High/Medium/Low/Off – the GPS has the fast processor chip and can run perfectly well on the highest setting – since it was designed for just that)
  Colour Display Settings:
    Default Daytime Colours
    Default Night Colours  - this is another safety feature to protect against the dreaded 'night blindness', looking at bright lights then back to the road)
    Easy (Night)
    Jove (Day)
  Elevation on 2D Map - Altitude/Topographic Map verses ‘flat’, or ‘plain’ (On/Off)
  Show Street Names (On/Off - pretty obvious… the map is dynamic, so if you zoom in you see the small streets/’capillary streets’ ©, zoom out and see arterial and highways only, zoom out future for highways only, etc. etc.
  Lane Information (At the Bottom/At the Top/Off)
  Help Button
NAVIGATION SETTINGS:
  Keep Position on Road (On/Off – Map moves keeping you centred as you move)
  Off-Route Recalculation (On/Off – Super fast recalculating of routes if you miss a turn – the fastest I’ve seen on any GPS – The GPS has the ‘fast type of processor chip’)
  Restore Lock-to-Position (5/10/20/30/40/50/60 Seconds or off – if you are moving the map about to look at something interesting (your old address, that great fishing spot, where you met your wife/husband, etc.) this will re centre the map, automatically, after a given amount of time that you set as the default)
  Automatic Overview – have the zoomed in map for which street you are getting to/looking at, and a zoomed out over view map to show your general relativity – I wonder if Einstein will steal that at the patents office too? :-p) – Like a tactical map and strategic map on screen at the same time (for those computer gamers out there)
    Turn Distance for Overview (1/1.5/2/3/4/5/7/10/20/30 kilometres – for the mini-map)
    Default Zoom Level (300/500 Metres, or 1/3/5/7/10/20/30 kilometres – tactical map)
  Help Button
SOUND SETTINGS:
  Master Volume
  Mute (Off/On)
  Voice Guidance Volume
  Key Sounds (Off/On)
  Dynamic Volume (Off/On) – Louder volume as you go faster to make up for the environmental sounds (Like car engine, wind, etc.)
    Minimum Speed Setting  }   This sets the range where you want the volume to go
    Maximum Speed Setting }    from quieter to louder – put it on what suits your car.
  Help Button
REGIONAL SETTINGS
  Program Language:  see language lists
  Voice Profile:  Voice profile off, or one of 104 voices (covering the 30 odd languages listed)
  Measurement units (Metric/Imperial – Miles & Feet/Imperial – Miles & Yards)

Time (Current Local Time & Greenwich Mean-Time – the place where from which all other time is measured – back in ‘the old country’, in London)
Date
Time-zone
 - (Auto Time Zone & GPS Auto time correction – gets the time off the satellites (On/Off settings for both)
You can put the GPS system in Simple Mode – just in-case you and ‘high-technology gadgets’ don’t get along; or
Advanced mode – for the more adventurous – the system is easy to use though – it gives you more options in Advanced Mode though.
FM Transmitter (tune in your radio to the GPS system and your normal car sound system can be used for the audio / instructions / directions, etc)
Find ‘Point-of-Interest’ (airports, accommodation, petrol stations, attractions, etc.)
Find Address (where you want to go to, where you are going from, etc.)
History (for quick referencing or commonly looked up places, etc.
Navigate to area (guided by voice and map, or map only if you choose, etc.)
Favourites (save your locations that you want to go to, you like, your fishing spot, etc.)
Compass, time, points of interest, zoom in/out/set zoom levels/your altitude.
Addresses are even done to the street number (handy for ‘what number are we at?’, ‘hey Darlin’, do we turn left or right down this street?’)/speed (really velocity, but har-well)/find address – go to City Centre, look up by country/city or town/street name/etc in a drill down fashion – good for misspelt street names, or if like me you have messy hand writing… you don’t have to do it drill down with only the available options shown though.  It is a really helpful and cool feature, but is best shown rather than explained.

Light Weight (useful for hiking, fishing, etc.)

Australia’s Street Maps included only, you could take the system to the France or wherever and just see where you are, without the streets shown – you can get other maps from the Internet for a few dollars though I am sure.
Add a detour on your ‘Voyage of Epic Proportions’ © to:
First Aid (doctors/hospitals/etc);
Parking stations (very handy in overly built up places like Sydney);
Accommodation (Helpful when ‘going bush’ on work or play);
Shopping;
Petrol Stations;
Rest Areas & Parks;
Automatic Teller Machines;
Restaurants.
You can even use this for listing the local fish and chip shops around you & how far away they are from where you are now!!!
You can toggle on other points of interest such as:
Bus Stops, Train Stations, Sporting venues, Tourist Attractions, Nature strips, add your own Points-of-Interest, Banks, Leisure, your buddies addresses, Car Rental joints, Local Businesses, Community Facilities, Cafes, Pubs/Bars, etc!!!
Just Imagine Pub-Crawling with your special lady or special gentleman with Map in tow!

Change the Background to a leaping Dolphin, or whatever you please if you put a picture on it via USB cable or Mini SD memory card!

You can put the GPS into Record Mode, Slip it into YOUR OWN teeny-bopper’s Back Pack and see what they’ve been up to? ;-P  Or average your time to get to work, or get your kids/employees to have it on record to check their distance travelled for fuel money calculations.  Budget for your own fuel usage!
You can check which GPS Satellites you are in contact with, your latitude and longitude (or that of a point of interest), check your GPS reception, etc.
Turn the GPS communication off at the switch of a button (yet still have the machine on for watching movies, listening to music, looking at photos or a flash animation, reading that E-book/Text File (not while driving please), or even looking up maps…)

4 Games
Game:  Snake
Game:  Clear Bombs (Mine Sweeper)
Game:  Tetris – that Russian Favourite
Game:  Kyodai – kind of like Mah-Jong or Match the Pairs…
Built-in Calculator included!

Slim Design
Fits nicely in the hands

Use when walking, driving or boating!!!
Save Fuel, instead of driving around lost for hours, know exactly where you are going, and how to get their.  The GPS will ‘tell you where to go’!

Long battery life - 4 hour normal-use battery time, 400 hours stand-by (according to the manual)

Headphone Jack
Mini SD card slot if you need to expand the memory/to use as a digital photo frame, add more countries’ maps, etc.
USB Jack
Car mount
USB cord (for talking to or charging via your computer) Power cord, Ciggie Lighter charger, etc.
Nice Box
‘Plug and Play’ for Windows Vista
If you have an older computer system: Windows 98/NT Drivers are on a CD
AVI movie converter on CD too (to convert your movies to play on the GPS machine… it automatically lets you play Window Media Files too)
The Machine has Windows CE 5.0 (from memory) - not 'cheap Linux-based'

The included pictures don't do the machine justice, but I am not a photographer ;-)
