Young, passionate and experienced Primary School teacher available to tutor all subjects from K-6.

I have a Bachelor of Education - Primary (major: Special Education) from the University of Sydney and have worked in a variety of schools as a classroom teacher.

I have taught students with very diverse needs including: learning difficulties, ESL (English as a Second Language), Autism, gifted & talented, emotion disorders and attention disorders.

Tuition will include:

Initial assessment of your child's learning needs in accordance with the NSW K-6 Syllabus
Individualised teaching based on learning needs or acceleration of existing abilities
Ongoing assessment of learning goals
Extra homework (if required)
Learning in an enjoyable way that allows your child to feel successful as they work towards their learning goals

Other details:

For your convenience I will come to your home (suburbs within Newcastle and Lake Macquarie)
$40 per hour (including all resources and preparation)
Small groups: $25 per hour for each child
Sessions available Monday to Friday
