Java is a lovely 15.2hh TB mare, black/brown, 6 years old. She is very friendly and inquisitive - she likes to know what's going on. Java has been to pony club where she jumped D grade with no problems and behaved herself perfectly. She doesn't kick out or bite at other horses. She has also been to shows where she was declared champion in hand at her first outing. Java is now being educated by a 16 year old girl who takes her trail riding and jumping in the bush, dressage in a big open arena and riding around cattle - none of which fazes Java. Java is still a little green and occasionally she can be silly - prancing on the spot and trotting really fast, however she has never bucked, bolted, reared or done anything dangerous. She is not a nasty or mean horse, she just gets excited. Java would suit a teenager who can give her time and who can take her out to Pony club and to shows/events. Java needs a owner who will be patient and loving. She is very beautiful and she also has huge potential as a showjumper/eventer. She is not ideally suited to a beginner, but she has been ridden by a beginner and was fine. I would like for her to go to someone who has some experience so they can have fun with her.
I am selling Java because I had an accident with another horse and I can no longer ride as much as I used to. She is too good to sit in the paddock and not be taken out. Interested people can come and try her at any time.
Java is located in Bungendore (30mins outside Canberra)
A loving home where I still might be able to see her if distance allows is more important than the price.
