Hi, I am wanting to find my Father.
He and a friend were hitchiking around NZ in late october of 1977, he would have been around 18yrs old with light brown sun bleached hair, blue eyes and was short in stature.
My Mum (who was 16 at the time with hazel eyes and dark hair, lived in Motueka)was driving around with her friend, noticed my dad and his mate and picked him up while he was hitching in Motueka (South Island of NZ) and took him and his friend over to Nelson, she took her friend home first.
She dropped my dads friend off on Queens RD Nelson which was where my dad and his mate were staying with friends, acquaintances or relatives.
My mum and dad then drove off to a garage nearby and proceeded to make me in the back of the car :)
Mum dropped him off back at Queens Rd Nelson afterwards and has never seen him again.
She has never remembered his name so I have virtually nothing to go by except the details I have given above.
I only want genuine responses please.. no time wasters.
If anyone remembers having friends that fit the details above, or think they might know something more to go on.. please leave helpful information, like I said I only want genuine responses :)
The only details about him (aside from the ones given above) that we know for sure are; He was hitchhiking around NZ with a mate and he was/is from Newcastle Australia.. Hence the reason for my Advert on here.
I am 31years old, currently living in Christchurch New Zealand.
